“Disability is not inability!”

Cubbing Rocks in more than just activities. The values we learn at a young age affect the people we become later. We spoke to Michelle Phiri (7) from 1st Sandzile Cub Pack in Mpumalanga. about her Cubbing joy!

Cubbing is so much fun because we play games.

SSA: What was your best experience with Cubs?
My best experience was the parade through Nelspruit under the topic “Disability is not inability!”

SSA: What was the most amazing place you visited with Cubs?
The most amazing place I visited with Cubs was the Justice Farm.

SSA: Can you name a few things you have learnt by being a Cub?
By being a Cub I have learnt the Cub promise and law.

SSA: What things have you done with Cubs to help people in your community?
To help people in our community we cleaned the school yard.

SSA: What did you teach your mum that you learned at Cubs?
I taught my mum morning exercises that I learnt at Cubs.

SSA: What makes a good Akela?
A good Akela is kind.

SSA: Why is your Akela special?
My Akela is special because she loves us!
