Parkmore Scouts Hall fire oct 2013The young boys and girls of the 1st Parkmore Scout Group were left homeless in October 2013 when their Scout hall was destroyed by fire. Despite the efforts of the fire brigade the building was destroyed by a fire of which the cause is unknown.

The Scout Hall has now been rebuilt and they took occupation in June 2014. On the 20th of June the Scouts were able to run and enjoy their Scouting adventure ‘at home’ again. During the rebuilding of the Scouting venue the “Brotherhood of Scouts” offered them a venue in Bryanston so they could continue to empower and aid in the development of children and youth in their area.
