In Mpumalanga children and youths engaged in health and the emotional well being. One of the projects was the Sonqoba Youth Project where peers educate peers on HIV & AIDS.
A variety of tools are used to create awareness, increase understanding and promote behaviour change. Discussions, drama, music and debate are just some examples. During the launch on the 15th March 2012 guests from civil society, including government officials, were invited and encouraged the youth to take responsibility for their lives and the growth of South Africa.
