We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Goodenough Bekezela Dlamini to the role of Regional Commissioner for KZN.
Mr Dlamini has grown up in the Scouting Movement as he moved through the ranks. In 1963 he joined SSA as a Cub at Inkanyezi Primary School, after which in 1972 he joined the Indaleni Scout Troop and went on to being their Rover Leader and later a Scout Master. He has also served as a trainer, area field organiser and project manager for the in-school scouting development project which he has successfully established and coordinated.
Internationally Mr Dlamini is well respected as a trainer and resources developer. He was a member of the world adult resources committee for 3 years, was the chairman of the Professional Scouters Association in the Southern Zone and developed resource materials in Kenya and training courses for the Africa Regional Office of WOSM.
He served as the National Schools Channel Coordinator for SCOUTS South Africa from 2014 and has now been appointed the Regional Commissioner for KwaZulu-Natal.
