In 2022, the SSA Board recommended that an interim management committee be established to monitor and lead the delivery of the Scouting programme for the benefit of the youth of KwaZulu-Natal. Board member, Ajay Daya, was tasked with leading this group, and implementing the necessary measures to ensure good governance and the financial stability of the Region.
We are pleased to see the progress that has been made by the Region over the past two years, and are now in a position to advertise the vacant role of Regional Commissioner: KwaZulu-Natal. The successful incumbent will need to be well versed with the challenges of the Region, and in supporting the diverse needs of both the Community and Schools channels, through which our programme reaches the youth.
