If you are running multiple projects, your Meerkats, Cubs, Scouts, Rovers and Adult Volunteers could even qualify for a Messengers of Peace badge (MOP)! Messengers of Peace is an overarching community service recognition programme that highlights service to others.

To qualify for a Messengers of Peace badge, Meerkats need 5 hours of service, Cubs need 10 hours, Scouts need 20 hours and Rovers 30 hours. Projects need to be uploaded onto the Scouts4SDGs portal and the link(s) emailed to info@scouts.org.za so our Better World Framework Coordinator can check and sign off. The MOP badges can then be purchased from the National Scout Shop. Find out more HERE.
