The Better World Framework was conceptualized in 2015 to integrate established World Scout programmes and to promote the engagement of young people in community development.
What is the Better World Framework?
The Better World Framework is a portfolio of World Scout initiatives addressing 4 thematic areas of education that focus on global issues and trends affecting young people in diverse communites over the next ten year.
Each initiative contains challenges for young people to tackle. The aim is to inspire them to participate in their local communities and to become active citizens.
The 4 thematic areas of education are:
- Environment and Sustainability
- Skills for Life
- Health and Wellbeing
- Peace and Community Engagement
